Teachers Together named supplier on GCA RM6376 Lot 1 – Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment. Also shown: REC Audited Education and Government Commercial Agency Supplier logos.

I'm proud to share that Teachers Together has been named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency's RM6376 Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment framework (Lot 1).

In plain terms, this is the government's official framework for school supply agencies - negotiated by the Department for Education specifically to give schools better value for money and greater clarity over what they're actually paying. It caps what agencies can charge as a fee, while leaving supply staff pay entirely untouched. You can read a clear explanation of how it works and what it means for your school from the DfE's own commercial team and the official guidance.

From September 2026, single and multi-academy trusts are mandated to use the framework. Local authority schools can use it too.

The framework is only open to agencies that have been through a rigorous evaluation process - covering safeguarding, compliance, and candidate management standards. For schools, that means any agency you find on it has already been independently assessed. You're not starting from scratch.

It also sits alongside our REC Audited Education status. Two independent assessments, from two different bodies, pointing to the same things: a commitment to transparency, rigorous compliance, and fair treatment of the educators we place.

For schools that already work with us, nothing changes in how we operate day to day. For schools that don't, the framework offers a straightforward, compliant route to working with us from September - no tender process required, just a short call-off order form to get started.
